Small miniature statue in solid silver and red marble base representing a wild boar (called Porcellino in Italy in reference to the fontana del porcellino in Florence after Pietro Tacca (1577-1640)).
Period late 19th or early 20th century.
Presence of a silver hallmark difficult to read, it is most probably Italian, we can guess a head whose face is turned to the left.
This item also tested positive for the touchstone.
It is in good condition in terms of the sculpture, with beautiful fine carving, note a small accident on one corner of the marble which has been polished.
