The lower part of the cabinet opens on the one hand by two doors revealing a fixed shelf and on the other hand by two drawers. On either side of this part, we observe a curved door surmounted by a drawer. All these doors have a lock with their own key. The locks work perfectly. The drawers are mounted dovetail ensuring perfect strength. This is how the drawers can be opened daily and hold many sometimes heavy objects. The buttons of these drawers are called "dropping buttons" and are made of wood.
The upper part of the cabinet also opens with two doors and contains three shelves on adjustable racks. The doors are glazed. The glazing is original material. The right door has a lock with its own key. The lock works perfectly. On either side of the high are two small rounded shelves intended to present objects. This part of the furniture rests on a credenza with turned balusters. This piece of furniture has a beautiful cornice. Its central part has a shape reminiscent of the underside of a church lamp.
The set of moldings is beautiful which gives elegance and refinement to the buffet.
This buffet comes from a renowned restaurant in the Loire Valley.
The restorer used it for its great possibilities of storage and presentation of its silverware, earthenware and glassware.
The interior of the furniture has been cleaned so that the objects are stored in a very healthy and odorless environment.
It is a piece of furniture of great character by the quality of its wood and moldings and also by its exceptional height. It is very rare.
