Magnificent Samson Paris porcelain cake service. A polychrome enameled decoration with gold highlights inspired by the East India Company. Pie dish Ø: 32 cm Cake dish: 35 x 15 cm Pie server porcelain handle, silver metal server: length: 30 cm Very good condition for this set. Stamp on the back of the dishes. For information: Samson Founded in Saint-Maur by Emile Samson, the porcelain factory moved to Montreuil in 1871. Specializing in the reproduction and restoration of ancient porcelain, this factory has enjoyed international renown, particularly among museums. The offices and exhibition store were located on avenue de l'Opéra, in Paris. Disused, the Montreuil premises were destroyed in 1989, with the exception of the ovens, protected as Historic Monuments.
