Vase Of Roses By Alexandre (jules A.) Gamba De Preydour (paris, Born In 1846)

This beautiful floral painting was executed by the famous French flower and sprout painter Alexandre (Jules Alexandre) Gamba de Preydour (born 1846 in Paris). He studied with Gérôme and exhibited portraits, floral and genre compositions at the Paris Salon in 1869-1895. His works can be found at the Chartres Museum and in many European private collections.
