Covered sugar bowl in solid silver. Work of the goldsmith Jean Veyrat active from 1831 to 1840 at 10 rue de la Tour in Paris. Louis XV style ribbed baluster model. Lid decorated with bindweed. 1st grade neck brace hallmarks and two-star Veyrat goldsmith hallmark. Monogrammed MR. Weight: 568 grams. Good condition, small defects of use.
