"Miniature By G Debillemont - Thistle"
Miniature on ivory of a young girl with red coral jewelry. Young girl circa 1900, work signed on the right side by Gabrielle Debillemont -Chardon (1860-1957) famous and celebrated miniaturist (legion of honor), student of Pierre de Pommayrac, miniaturist to the Empress, she was admitted to the salon of French artists in 1876, she was only 16 years old!!! And won the gold medal there in 1899. She is the author of the work, reference, treatise on miniatures in 1937
