Regency Style Screen, 19th Century

Regency style screen, 19th century. Decorative and old screen composed of 3 strands, Exposed wooden frame, molded and carved, painted and highlighted in shades of blue-green, carved ornamentation in regency style, in low relief with symmetrical patterns of shells, palm leaves, acanthus scroll and checkered background. The whole thing rests on small turned feet. This creation is made up of old elements, visibly 18th century, brought back to the 19th century to form a screen. Articulation of the strands by brass hinge. Each sheet of the screen has been covered with a Heritage collection fabric, Berry model from Casal, with Houlès braid on the main side and a gold-colored moire on the back.
