Painting by Serge Belloni, known as: "the painter of Paris". This painting represents a view of Paris, on a quay of the Seine. The painting is in very good condition, it measures 55cm long by 46cm wide excluding the frame. Everything with frame measures 77cm long by 67.5cm wide. Serge Belloni, known as Le Peintre de Paris, is the son of the upholsterer Luigi Belloni and Elvira Belloni née Molinari. He arrived in Paris in 1933 where he studied painting at the Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He exhibited his paintings from 1946. Several of his works are kept by the Carnavalet Museum in Paris.).
