Pair of fine Satsuma earthenware lamps, Meije period (1868-1912) composed of ovoid vases decorated with polychrome enamels on a white background. The enamels are predominantly orange in color and highlighted with gold. The body is decorated with large cartouches representing dignitaries in nature, and on the sides a decoration of butterflies. These lamps rest on a circular frame in chiseled and gilded bronze resting on four palmette feet. The globes are engraved crystal, the tubes are crystal. electricity completely redone.
