Basswood with polychrone calk paint
South Germany, Lake Constanze,
around 1600 -1640.
The whole thing is carved from tileul wood. The polychromy, gilding and silvering are of partially restored origin.
The sculpture is a work of the Zürn / Überlingen family with influences typical of the late Gothic style.
