Precious Louis XIV period Prie-dieu in walnut with maple threads and ebonized profiles, drawer under the top and base with flap door.
It is a precious jewel of a cabinetmaker active in Rome in the early eighteenth century.
The furnishing structure sees it supported by six finely defined, faceted and hollowed columns, with a parallelepiped base and capital.
The particularly refined and graceful line refers it to a high-level client.
The furniture is in excellent condition and has only been cleaned with the restoration of the polishing.
