Lovely egg-shaped Limoges porcelain box entirely covered in gold inlay and blue edging. Inlay is a very particular technique which is almost no longer done, the porcelain is etched with acid then gilded with fine gold. The result is a raised pattern that is shiny on the surface and matte in the hollows. Edition Lachaniette, circa 1990. Delivery 14 euros in France, 25 euros in the EU and 50 euros rest of the world
