Empire mahogany commode and ormolu, so called a l'anglaise shape, the drawers being covered with 2 panels. early 19th century production, circa 1815-1820. Not stamped, our piece is a top of the range production, assurely from one of the best cabinet makers active in Paris at the early 19th century.
Beautiful amateur piece in excellent condition, new varnished . The marble is intact, the mercury gilding is very beautiful.
