Superb glass, vase, cup, chalice..., Biedermeier second quarter 19th century, in clear and ruby red Bohemian crystal, animated with needle engravings representing Rhineland monuments. Hexagonal foot with 6 flat facets, notched base. Chalice offering three medallions cut in high cut and representing the cathedral of Cologne and the castles of Rheinstein and Stolzenfels. The engravings are extremely precise and fine, with great details...: very high quality work! Magnificent condition, some micro chips, barely visible, especially on the foot..., as well as normal wear on the bottom of the foot. Height = 23.6 cm; diameter = 10.5 cm per foot Weight = 986 grams
