Interesting set of 80 original engravings forming a collection of the history of seats in the most beautiful aristocratic and museum collections created around 1880.
These engravings are enhanced with original gouache to give them better depth.
this engraved collection of 210 seats including armchairs, chairs, sofas and chaise lounges was published around 1879 by Verchère, exhibitor at the Universal Exhibition of 1878 and gold medalist at the International Exhibition of 1879 and represents a panorama of the seats in the collections from:
