Clock based on a model by Jean-André Reiche (1752 - 1817) registered at the Imperial Library on February 19, 1805. In mercury-gilded bronze, very beautiful original matt and shiny gilding, sea green marble base, rests on its 4 original feet. Luxurious study, richness of the armchair where the young woman sits reading lit by a magnificent oil lamp symbol of light. Wire movement revised by watchmaker with balance wheel and key.
