"Lucien Mignon 1865-1944 Painting Portrait Of Woman"
Lucien Mignon 1865-1944 born in Château-Gontier, attended the School of Fine Arts in Angers and Paris. He left Paris for Cagnes-sur-Mer where he got closer to Auguste RENOIR whose portrait he painted. His style is very close to that of Renoir and his Ingres period. Lucien Mignon was able to create this young woman, with great charm and elegance, a superb rendering of her negligee which slightly reveals the young woman's naked body. Lucien Mignon's paintings of women are very popular. Painting signed top right Dimensions of the work: 39 x 61 Colissimo shipping Careful packaging
