"Children's High Chair In Cherry – Mid-19th Century"
This high chair rests on two front legs, square in section, tapering towards the bottom and held by two bars and a moving footrest. The chamfered rear legs, tapering towards the top, are assembled and doweled into the curved backrest. Below the latter, there are four spindles which rest in a concave crosspiece. The turned armrests are held by angled wooden elements. The redone seat is made of real, very tight straw. We will appreciate this high chair for its authenticity and the warm color of its cherry wood. ******** Period: Mid-19th Century Excellent condition. Waxed finish.
