Claude Gallé bronze foundry engraver received Master in 1786, active rue Vivienne in Paris supplier to the court under Louis XVI as well as under the Empire, he notably supplied the castle of Trianon, Fontainebleau, Saint Cloud, Compiègne and the palace of the Tuileries.
