China, Qing dynasty, early 19th century or earlier, superb and large bronze funerary mirror, circular in shape, with concentric relief decoration representing stylized tigers in relief. This decoration is directly inspired by the style of funerary mirrors from the Warring States period (475-221 BC). Beautiful green and red patina.
Unusual piece in good condition except for slight normal wear and tear.
Diameter 19 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone.
