Large ceramic vase in Longwy enamels with 6 facets, with rare decoration of pink flowers on a purple background in stylized medallions in black setting. Circa 1920-30. Hand decor, initials SG.The Manufacture des Émaux de Longwy, a historic earthenware factory, has developed unique know-how since 1798, recognizable by the thickness of its enamel, cloisonné, and very colorful. The specific drip technique used for hand-filling the colored enamel gives the colors exceptional depth.
