Small Mahogany Officer's Commode from the Louis XVI Period Circa 1780 18th Century Small Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Officer's Commode from the Louis XVI Period, Opening With Three Drawers on the Front and Resting on Four Spinning Feet. It is garnished with a Gray Veined White Marble Top surrounded by a Gallery of Golden and Openwork Brass. Its Front and Rear Uprights with Flutes Sheathed in Golden Brass. Beautiful and Rich Brass and Gilt Bronze Ornamentation Such as Pull Handles, Lock Entrances, Flutes, Gallery, Drawer and Panel Frames, Rings and Clogs. Beautiful Flamed Mahogany.
