Oil on panel by Ernesto Fontana, an Italian painter born in 1837 and died in 1918, depicting a landscape with figures.The painting is signed at lower left and was executed around 1870.
The state of preservation is good, it has never undergone restoration, however, I recommend a possible cleaning of the panel.
The painting is sold with a conifer (fir) wood frame, carved and gilded, executed around the middle of the 19th century.
The state of preservation is fair, with some missing parts.
