Ear bowl and its lid in silver, the plain body, the grips sculpted with busts (of a Greek philosopher?) on an amati background, the stepped lid is molded with fillets, the grip is decorated with a portrait of a young woman on a background amati, by the master goldsmith Antoine Roberdeau, Bordeaux 1730-1731. Antoine Roberdeau was made a master goldsmith in Bordeaux on October 12, 1718. Here is his first hallmark used until 1735. Weight 722g. Condition, very good, this piece is early in the 18th century. It has kept its lid. The body of the bowl, the grips and the lid are punched. Provenance sale Christie's Geneva November 6, 1969 then by inheritance.
