Marginal wormholes at the start of volume 2. Titles in ink on the spine. First edition of this historical work, collected and annotated by Hoynck van Papendrecht (1686-1753). Also known as Analeta Belgica. Contains a biography of the Lawyer and Man of State Frisian Viglius Zuichemius b Aytta (1507-1577). Cornelius Paul Hoynck van Papendrecht (1686-1754) was a Dutch Catholic priest. He was private secretary to the Archbishop of Alsace of Mechelen and also received the title of Archpriest. In 1725 he wrote a polemical History of the Church of Utrecht. His most important work was the Analecta Belgica (1743-1753) in four volumes, in which he provides important sources for the History of the Church of Utrecht. 16th century. (see Wikipedia).
