Rare 19th century writing desk in Boulle marquetry, richly decorated with interlacing and rosette, the top cylinder shape, revealing three slots for mail/paper. The flap opening onto a writing desk covered in green velvet. Beautiful model complete with its two inkwells and its key (the lock works but does not close). Very minor wear and tear, all in good condition, see photos. Total dimensions diameter H.16 cm x L34 cm x D47 cm (open flap)
