Born in Poitiers, she attended the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and exhibited regularly at the Salon d'Automne from 1910 , then at the Salons des Tuileries and des Indépendants.
In 1929, she exhibited at the Galerie Bernheim Jeune. In 1938 she organized, as group leader, a women's section in one of the artists' group exhibitions at the Petit Palais in Paris.
Preferring character to anecdote, she paints aspects of the city with force, looking for crowd movements. She worked on sculpture with Bourdelle, whose personality and teaching were the great influence she had.
