"Two Large Art Nouveau Lamps (70 And 64 Cm), In Regula, Signed By Auguste Moreau 1834-1917"
Two large Art Nouveau period lamps, regula by Auguste Moreau (1834-1917) signed on the terrace. These subjects with medal patina are entitled "Drops of dew" and "Duets" "Drops of dew" presents a young woman watering two birds under a tree whose orange fruits are in painted glass, original patina. The "Duos" lamp presents a young woman playing a double flute to two birds perched on a column. The fruits of the tree are hard green stones. Auguste Moreau was the son of Jean Baptiste and brother of Mathurin and Hyppolite. These lamps, the electricity of which has been redone (original bayonet socket for LED bulbs), are in perfect condition.
