Cult figure similar to a "Yipwon", presented and sold mounted on a base. Collected in Sevenbuck village in Papua New Guinea. The Yipwon is one of the most stylized and symbolic objects from the Sepik River area. These sculptures are placed in the Haus Tambaran (men's house) and are closely linked to the warrior world.
