Regulatory officer's pistol 1833 - 2nd model. Plate marked Manufacture Nationale de Chatellerault and the name of the officer, barrel dated 1848, i.e. during the short-lived 2nd Republic, sloping walnut stock ending in a bead, in the cap there is a box containing a powder pod, slightly flared barrel , gray damask, 48 hair stripes, iron trim, finger rest, iron wand with brass tip to protect scratches.
