He was mobilized during the First World War. On his return he began to exhibit in Parisian salons, notably in 1920 at the Salon des Artistes Français. He quickly stood out for his style imbued with Art Deco and was rewarded at events such as the Decorative Arts Exhibition of 1925. He also exhibited at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon du Dessin et de la Peinture à l'Art Deco. 'water. He is a member of the Jury of Decorative Artists.
