The A la Reine service was delivered in 1784 and the original pieces are today part of the collections of major museums around the world. The inflections of its “Comte d’Artois” form are characteristic of the graceful detours that the period likes to give to precious objects. This set is decorated with very colorful floral patterns with a catch on the top of the hat in the shape of a golden thistle. the handles in the shape of acanthus leaves also gilded. high quality work in excellent condition bearing the mark of the Count of Artois underneath.
