The leitmotif of Corrodi's entire production: the compelling compositional and luministic effects that make all his compositions irresistible, appreciated by the market since his time.
His successes and international frequentations quickly brought him into contact with the great masters and the best patrons - aristocrats and entrepreneurs - of his time. In 1872, he stayed in Paris with Jean Léon Gerome and Ernest Meissonnier, then in London as a guest of Sir Lawrence Alma Tadema. He was a constant presence at national and international exhibitions. Other exhibitions include the 1873 Vienna World Exhibition where he won the gold medal with Bosco di pini (Forest of Pines), the 1889 Salon de Paris where he exhibited Capri and the 1894 British Royal Academy exhibition where he sent Tempesta nel deserto in Egypt.
