Acid-etched multilayer glass vase, signed Gallé. Émile Gallé (1846-1904) was a French master glassmaker, cabinetmaker and ceramist. Founder of the Nancy school in 1901, he was passionate about botany. After his death, his glassworks continued production until 1936.
