"Louis XVI Style Fronton Mirror"
Louis XVI style pedimented mirror. Mid-19th century. In molded, carved and gilded wood. It has an openwork pediment decorated with a basket of flowers, foliage and gardener attributes. The frame is carved with a row of dentils lined with a row of pearls. Bay leaves and pompoms decorate the frame at the shoulder. The gilding is original. The ice is old with its mercury tin. Note some small alterations. The parquet floor is old. Dimensions: L 52.5 x H 88.5 x D 6
