Beautiful Old Flintlock Pistol from the 18th Century signed F. LATOUR, certainly a gunsmith in Saint-Etienne, France 18th century
Thunder-sided barrel then round, flat-body lock signed: “F. LATOUR” and chiseled with foliage motifs, against plate decorated afterwards, as was the cannon.
Overall length: 36 cm / Barrel length: 20.6 cm
Swan neck dog, long tail cap, engraved with foliage and clasp motifs, trigger guard decorated afterwards. Walnut wood frame carved with foliage. Wooden wand with ironed button (Note that a retaining piece of the wand is missing at the end of the length.
