A very fine lithographic reproduction of the famous painting by Gérard, the 1834 version of which is kept at the Château de Versailles in a gilded wooden frame from the first third of the 19th century. Interesting portrait depicting the King of the French taking the oath on the Charter, and dressed in the uniform of the National Guard, which focuses the events of August 1830 and shows the evolution of the representation of power between the absolute monarchy and the constitutional one. An excellent historical souvenir!
