Entirely in brass. The base of the bomb is bordered at the front and back by a band decorated with relief moldings at the front, and laurel branches at the back. Mobile visor stamped in relief with two crossed axes linked together by a ribbon framed with laurel branches. Neck cover surrounded by a rush folded astride its outer edge. Crest with fins stamped with ten gadroons with mask decorated with a flaming bomb, it is topped with a black horsehair caterpillar. Brass front plate stamped with a Gallic rooster on a globe placed on an escutcheon marked "dedication", framed by branches of vines and sheaves of wheat, with a ribbon bearing the inscription "SAPEURS POMPIERS DE CHATEAUGIRON" on a background of bundles of flags. Brass chinstraps composed of two chin straps with rosette: each chin strap is composed of a brass plate stamped with scalloped scales in relief, mounted on leather, round rosette stamped with gadroons in relief. Plumet holder with square section decreasing towards the bottom. Very good general condition, I would like to point out reconstituted interior cover.
