"Louis XV-louis XVI Transition Console, 19th Century, In Walnut."

This Transition console, from the 19th century, is in carved walnut and 'sea green' marble top, with grooves. The top, with rounded corners, is fluted and opens to a drawer decorated, in the center, with a crowned coat of arms, between two branches of oak and laurel. It rests on 4 arched and fluted legs decorated with scrolls and acanthus leaves. They are joined by an 'X' crosspiece topped with a 'spinning top' topped with a pine cone. The piece of furniture rests on 4 small leafy legs. Very good original condition.
