Large oval miniature (9.2 * 7.5 cm) representing a seated woman holding a book. She wears pretty jewelry including a pearl necklace with a cross, a pair of earrings and a comb also apparently decorated with pearls. We can see at the bottom left on the stone pedestal ...09 for 1809, I think. The landscape, in pastel colors, shows a pretty vase decorated with gadroons, a pool with a waterfall as well as a cat located to the right. The frame measures 14.5 * 16.5 cm. (light scratch marks).
