Good size brass protractor measuring 16cm in diameter and bearing the rare signature on a mathematics instrument of "by Lavenarde Bailly d'Orléans". This signature is usually found on clocks. The protractor, dating from the years 1840-1860, is divided into two times 0-180 degrees. Two holes certainly indicate the ancient presence of two handles. Good condition.
