Superb two-body sideboard in solid cherry wood from the 18th century, originating from the Charentes. The lower body is made up of 2 doors and a large pull-out called a "breadboard" and an interior shelf. The feet are shell-shaped. The plinth is good. scalloped with the same decoration as the doors The sides are scalloped like the front plinth Usual restorations: rear legs rehent The doors have a beautiful Louis XV scroll molding which recalls the shell of the feet The upper body has a shelf interior and 2 molded doors like those at the bottom The upper transom is decorated with a beautiful molding with a beautiful rosette in its center The whole is topped with a pretty cornice The bottom shelf is surrounded by an ogee The uprights are fluted announcing Louis XVI period The locks are original as well as the working keys The cornice is probably later total h: 223.2 cm Bottom h: 100 cm width: 142.5 cm depth: 58.5 cm Top: h: 123.2 cm width: 137 cm depth: 40.5 cm Pull: 123 x 25.8 cm Cornice: width: 152.4 cm depth: 46.8 cm
