Beautiful romantic cityscape painting of Venice from the 19th century. With vibrant colors and rapid brushstrokes, the artist of this painting has wonderfully captured a large boat departing from the bustling city of Venice on a beautiful sunny day, in the distance we can see the emblematic St. Mark's Square with the Campanile. The painting appears unsigned but its style is close to the works of Félix Ziem and Henri Duvieux. On the reverse there is an inscription "Bouchet... 73 Paris" The canvas measures approx. 65*44 cm and the total dimensions with frame are approx. 85 by 65 cm. Origin: Private collection France
