A rarity from the Louis XV period, a rare low living room or alcove screen with its original exotic wallpaper.
ideal for separating a room or hiding part of it, this low Louis XV screen is functional, practical and very decorative.
It is made up of 5 heavily molded walnut shutters with a gendarme's hat top, securely articulated using original bronze hinges.
the interior panels can slide upwards freely and have retained the wonderful original wallpaper.
This wallpaper is stuck on canvas in a period frame.

an 18th century paper with exotic Indian-style decoration of flowers and birds.
a superb document even if there are tears and gaps visible in the photos.

Undoubtedly among the first wallpapers in the 18th century, it has retained magnificent colors.
