Large Katana Tsuba, Tate-ito-gata Shape, Wrought Iron, Japan 19th Or Early 20th Century

Very present in the hand and very heavy, here is a large Tsuba in wrought iron. It takes the shape called "Tate-Ito-Gata" and is decorated in openwork parts with 3 hearts at the ends, probably the "Môn" (coat of arms) of the family. The "Nagako-ana" is very little worn, but still shows the trace of the "Seppa", presence of a Kogai-Hitsu, allowing the storage of the Kogai. Beautiful sound when you ring the object, nice quality cast iron.
Excellent condition, no break or flaw, light marks on the surface, well noted in my detailed photos.
