"Napa Dance Club – Santa Cruz Islands"
A dance club called “Napa” whose shape resembles that of a canoe and of which the majority of black and red pigments remain as well as some areas of white pigments. There are shrinkage cracks on two sides. Used during traditional dances by men lined up in two rows who dance and hit each other. They are generally attributed to Ndende Island, but they are found throughout the Santa Cruz Islands and are believed to have originated in Utupua.
