-5 warp threads per cm
-Fragment presenting large lanceolate leaves, bindweed and vine tendrils wrapping around the stems. We also see two birds pecking at bunches of grapes. - The type of tapestry from which this fragment comes predates the rise of so-called cabbage leaf tapestry. The weaving can be attributed to a Flemish workshop (Enghien, Oudenarde, or Grammont). These production centers, very close geographically, knew each other, influenced each other and responded to the same fashions and the same demands.
-Dimensions: Height: 117 cm Width: 47 cm
-Good state of conservation. Old restorations should be noted, one of the leaves is slightly stained.
-This tapestry is lined and a fixing system with hooks makes it easy to attach.
