Signature of an intaglio stamp "Gentil & Bourdet Billancourt" Period 1920/30 Height: 37 cm Maison Gentil & Bourdet Founded in 1904 by two architects Alphonse Gentil (1872-1933) and François Eugène Bourdet (1874-1952), the house Gentil & Bourdet aims to be a “Special architectural agency for the execution of all models”. Both men use their talent as ceramists and mosaicists and are widely recognized for their ornamental terracotta elements and their decorative architectural ceramics.
