Vincent Sanvito (XX/XXI): “Combat in the arena”, painting on tarpaulin 143 x 200 cm, signed lower right, countersigned and dated 1995 on the reverse. Traces of handling, but good general condition. What little we can find about the Artist tells us that it is an old work in its history. This vision of an arena, with its side of sun and shadow, the peones waiting to intervene and the talanquères all around only let the bullfighter belatedly noticed in his costume of light who is knocked down by the bull, their twinned souls flying towards the sky… Immense and decorative.
