Charles X chandelier Circa 1830. In bronze and brass, finely chiseled and gilded with mercury. Cut crystal, Paris circa 1830. Rare chandelier in finely chiseled, gilded bronze and cut crystal. Model simulating an antique suspension, with 3 chains made of cut crystal, held by griffins. Supporting a globe from which 6 arms of lights in the shape of a crystal cone extend. The ceiling light consists of a circular ring of a crystal ball. Beautiful quality of original mercury carving and gilding with a matte and shiny double patina. The original crystals, cut, are attributable to the baccarat or Montcenis crystal factory. Parisian work from the Restoration period, circa 1830. Dimensions: Height: 74cm; Diameter: 30cm.
